APRIL FAVORITES: fashion & makeup

Hello Loves and happy Monday!

Sorry for being inactive recently, I’ve just been very busy with many travels and doing my masters.

This week I’d like to share with you my favourite items of last month. I picked all of them by an impuls. Few of them I decided to get online hoping they will be comfortable and in the right size. Lucky for me everything happened to be perfect and I’m just obsessed with all of them atm (and surely I will be for a long time).

I was looking for a good bra for a quite some time, but I had problems with finding a one that will be as pretty as comfortable. I’m obsessed with Victoria’s Secret for a while and I already have quite a lot of panties from there so I hoped the bra will be really good quality as well. I wasn’t wrong. As soon as I tried this one on I fell in love! It’s definitely the most comfortable bra I ever had. Highly recommend! I know it’s quite pricey but definitely worth it!

Also they have great promotions! The time I was purchasing this bra I could get for free a lip product of my choice!

I chose this Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stain in Adored and it happened to be the best shade of liquid lipstick I’ve ever had! I just love the consistency and it definitely doesn’t make your lips feel dry.

NEW LOOK

I found them online on promotion for around ($12) and just fell in love in them instantly! Already wore them few days straight and they’re so comfortable! Also they match everything I wear!

OYSHO

The last item is this cute, girly polka dot dress I ordered from oysho.com. I was looking for a dress this shape (envelope, but not from jersey material) for a long time! I’m glad they become more popular this summer.

August Favorites!

Hello Loves! Hope you’re having great Monday!

It’s almost the end of the month and Summer and I just can’t believe it! It’s makes me so sad! Summer is my favorite season and it always happens so fast! But the good news is with the end of this month also comes new post of my month’s favorites to share with you! Let’s take advantage of those last warm days and now go straight to the post!

The first fave item are those Topshop mom jeans I wore the hell out off since I got them! I was looking for a good mom fit a long time, but nothing I tried was a good fit. They were cut off in a wrong places, flattened my butt, looked weird in front or simply they were too buggy for my petite silhouette. These Topshop ones were on a big sale so I decided to risk it and order them online still being little skeptic how they will fit. But guys! They do and they are such a great fit! Love them so much! (with heels they look killer!)

Second favorite is my old fave Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. Probably most of you, who are a little bit into makeup, heard about this mascara! So what more can I say? It’s the best one yet I’ve tried, very affordable and easily buildable without the unnatural effect (I’m not a fan of spider lushes). My always very safe go to product.

Third fave is my new Hoola Matte Bronzer by Benefit Cosmetics. I recently purchased it in Sephora. Finally! In a previous month’s favorites I’m gushing over Bronze Goddess by Esteé Lauder with never trying Hoola. Well, I did try it and it’s amazing! I have to say it’s not surprising to me anymore that so many people love this product! It’s so pigmented and flattering most of the skintones! It’s just gorgeous! I’m in love! ❤FullSizeRender

My New Favorite Summer Scent!

Hello Loves and happy Monday!

This week I would like to share with you my recent fragrance discovery! Nobody of my friends or family can’t believe that I’ve changed my fragrance. Well, yes, I did but just for summer 😉 For years and years (exactly 7 years) I was totally faithful to my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum. I feel like this scent was just made for me. My hairdresser always pointed out my scent, how much she likes it and that I never change it. Coco Mademoiselle seemed so perfect for me and I got so used to it, I just never thought about changing it up. What for if it’s the best? Without it I feel like I do when forgot my phone. It also always makes me calmer. It’s just magic!

After how I praised this scent it’s probably hard to believe that I found another one I love. It was always hard for me to find a scent I like. I like florar, but not too florar. I definitely don’t like sweet scents and those woody, deep and heavy ones make me feel like they would suit someone older than me. I’m just super picky about it. It doesn’t mean that when I’m at Sephora I don’t go and sniff some perfumes. I like to do it, but until just a few weeks back I haven’t liked anything else.

Me and my boyfriend were at the airport on a way for our summer vacation. I went into Victoria’s Secret to look around, since it was duty free I was hoping to find some bargain. I didn’t find anything I was looking for but I sniffed Bombshell Eau de Parfum and suddenly I felt something! I didn’t hate it! I liked it! I liked it a lot actually! I was really surprised with myself. Haha! I sprayed my hand and the whole day I was sniffing my wrist still doubting myself that I really like it. Well, guess what!

I liked it so much I decided to get a bottle. Now it reminds me our amazing vacations! Sun, beach, piña coladas and the warm water, hot weather and fancy dinners by the seaside. The scent is quite hard to describe. I feel like it’s fresh and little floral and little sweet too, but somehow this combination works so well for me! It just so well made and none of the scent ingredients is not too strong. It’s very well blended. I’d never thought it’s floral if I didn’t read it on a box*. Well… I guess I like floral and a little bit of fruity sweetness now, because this scent just stole my heart. No wonder it’s such a classic at VS! Highly recommend!

1000 Followers Q&A

Hello loves!

Sorry for missing two Mondays, but I didn’t have enough of time before I left for my holidays to schedule blog posts. But I’m back! Happy, rested and tanned! Because of that I post exceptionally today.

I collected all your questions from the thank you post after hitting a huge milestone! 1000 followers (now actually already 1228)! Thank you so much! ❤

How often did you post when you started the blog and what kept you motivated? 

First I posted once per week. Different days. I tried to see which day suits me the best and is the most comfortable for me to post on. I chose to post on Mondays. Then I tried to post twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays), which with my academy and work schedule was super hard so I switched back to posting only on Mondays.

What kept me motivated I think was that I truly enjoy to do it, so it was simply a getaway from work/home stuff.

How did you get into blogging? And what are you aspirations for the future? (Blogging wise or personal)

I was looking for another getaway beside making art and music from everyday life. I was very, very hesitant to start my blog. Whom for I’ll be doing it? Will people like to read it? I finally decided to do it for myself and I didn’t want anyone to know about it. Till today nobody from my family and friends knows that I have a blog. I never imagined my blog will be taken so well by you loves. I can’t believe you really enjoy it! I’m very grateful.

Aspirations? Let’s see when it will all take me. I’m gonna keep doing what I love and write more post, trying to still improving in every aspect of blogging. Hopefully I’ll make myself do more fashion/outfits posts and maybe some makeup tutorials that will include more me in pictures. It’s just I’m too camera shy. I have a lot of insecurities and it’s really hard for me. But let’s say that that is my goal for now. 🙂

If you could go anywhere for a dream vacation, where would you go?

What is your favourite scent?

I love Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum the most in the world! It’s 100% my scent. I use them everyday for a good 7 years! I could say it’s my signature scent now. Haha. But I have to admit recently I fell in love with a Bombshell Eau de Parfum from Victoria’s Secret. I just got a bottle and it smells like summer! Love it!

 If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be?

I already have a tattoo! I wrote a blog post about the whole story of me getting it. Although I want a second one already! Definitely it will be something about NYC. I was thinking just about tiny letters.

Who is your celebrity style inspiration?

I have a lot! I love Gigi Hadid and bloggers Samantha Maria and my girl Maffashion.

If you were a superhero, what would your name and power be?

Name? Idk! haha, but my power will definitely be teleporting!
